Kinoshita-goma from Sendai is one of the three major wooden horse figurines of the Tohoku region, alongside Miharu-goma and Hachiman-goma.
Judging from its shape and colors, it appears to have been made in the mid-Showa period.
There are some lines on the surface that appear to be wood grain and some stains that occur over time, but overall the condition is good.
