Himeji Paper Mache - Itatehyōzu Shrine Three Mountains

 This is a toy version of the Okiyama made for the festival of Itatehyosuji Shrine, the head shrine of Harima Province, located behind the Otemon Gate of Himeji Castle. The three mountains are modeled after the Mitsuyama Festival, which is held every 21 years. From the left, they are called Nishikiyama, Goshikiyama, and Kosodeyama.
 This is an old toy made during the Showa period, so please be aware that it may be faded, dusty, or dirty before purchasing.
